In-home support services

In Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Turku, Blue Ribbon Ltd provides in-home support services directly in the client’s home. The services are provided not only in apartments that are rented from Sininauha Ltd, but also in the client’s own apartments.

The aim of the work is to strengthen the client’s resources, support the smooth running of everyday life and create cooperation networks. With supported housing, we aim to ensure successful housing and help the client towards an independent, meaningful life.

The service is particularly intended for people experiencing long-term homelessness and who have a history of substance abuse and mental health problems. Our multidisciplinary team works systematically in a goal-oriented way using a variety of working methods.

With the in-home supported housing service, the customer has their own case manager and a rental apartment arranged by Blue Ribbon Ltd. The service can also be provided in the client’s own apartment.

Our apartments are mainly studio units, some with a balcony. The client can furnish the apartment as they wish. The housing is based on a tenancy agreement in accordance with the Act on Residential Leases. Clients are referred to the service through the social work department in their municipality.

Housing is based on the housing-first principle. Our aim is to secure housing first, then social rehabilitation.
